Litany of Restitution

Written by: | Posted on: | Category:

A litany, which, in its original Greek means a "supplication" or "petition," was used for a wide range of liturgical occasions, as well as for penitential processions, for visiting the sick and the dying, and for private devotion.

The Restitution Foundation wishes to share its Litany of Restitution with all individuals, like-minded organisations and corporates. We find this litany useful to begin or end meetings as it centres people around a common purpose.

We acknowledge the late Alan Paton and Professor Sharlene Swartz for its creation.

You are free to use this litany for the purpose it was intended. In addition: at the bottom of the litany you can write: With acknowledgements to Alan Paton.
